Providing Opportunities

Our Construction Pre-apprenticeship Training Program

At Project H.O.O.D. (Helping Others Obtain Destiny), we recognize the vital role that economic empowerment plays in transforming lives and communities. For the past several years, through our construction training program, we help aspiring individuals lay the foundation for a successful career in the dynamic world of construction.

In partnership with the State of Illinois Works, our pre-apprenticeship program (sponsored by Illinois Works) provides those with an interest in the construction industry to receive hands-on training to prepare to enter a Department of Labor apprenticeship or employment while being paid. All are welcome, especially people of color, women and veterans.
