Teaching Financial Literacy to the Next Generation

Project H.O.O.D. is launching the Money Wise Youth initiative, a two-session workshop focused on financial literacy and responsible money management for youth ages 12-18.

What to Expect

  • Educational sessions covering saving, budgeting, and financial goal-setting

  • Interactive lessons on spending wisely and avoiding debt

  • A real-world financial challenge, where students will receive $100 for a guided shopping experience

How to Participate

The Money Wise Youth program will take place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, and Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Project H.O.O.D., 6620 S. King Drive, Chicago, IL 60637.
