Programs · Pillar 3

Health. Access. Community Care.

Free, quality healthcare for South Side residents of all ages — because where you live should never determine whether you can see a doctor.

What we do

Access to care. No barriers. No exceptions.

Healthcare shouldn't be a privilege. Our Health & Wellness pillar addresses the full picture — physical health, mental health, emotional wellness, and social connection — with a special commitment to seniors and those who have historically been locked out of the healthcare system.

  • Free medical screenings and health check-ups
  • Access to care for uninsured and underinsured residents
  • Senior programming, social engagement, and wellness support
  • Mental health counseling and therapy
  • Recovery navigation — individualized support for residents in recovery
  • Group support circles and crisis response
  • Referral network to ongoing care providers

Real Stories

Healing happens in community.

“Recovery is not a destination — it’s a journey best traveled together.”

Every week, our Recovery in the Hood meetings bring neighbors together to support one another, share their experiences, and find strength in community — a safe space for healing, accountability, and hope. No one has to walk the journey alone.

Wellness here isn’t only about appointments. It’s also our seniors gathering for Bingo Saturdays — fellowship, laughter, and connection that keep our elders rooted in the community they helped build.
